Why Yoga?
Yoga improves posture, increases the intake of oxygen, and enhances the
functioning of the respiratory, digestive, endocrine, reproductive, and
elimination systems. In this fast paced, stressful and materialistic
life yoga has definitely brought "calm & Peace " in my
life. |
We all live in this world with preconceived notions. Like frogs of the
well we take the world as it appears to us. But reality is far away from
what we see or perceive. This is what the the concept of Maya- ancient
Indian wisdom elicits. We all are living in the world of illusion But
Rarely do we try to break the shackles, thus confining our experience.
The twin combination of Yoga and meditation helps to break this
illusion. But we fear experimenting. Same was the case with me.
Fed on allopathic medicines like others,it was hard for me to believe
that there can be an alternative to oral medication. It is only after
experiencing in the recent past I have realized the amazing powers of
Yoga and meditation.
Today, I perform Yoga everyday for half an hour though I have a tight
schedule.
It has made me more compatible as social being in society. It has put a
halt to my impulsive behavior, and has eased to a lot extent the
elimination problem which I suffer from. In fact it has reduced it to
minimal. It has enhanced the functioning of my respiratory and digestive
systems.
