Everything in India has its own charm and salient features. The cities, villages, beaches, hills, all have an alluring beauty that attracts travelers from the remote corners of the world. But definitely it is far more rewarding to be in the confines of jungles than in the confines of concrete jungles that covers most part of the big cities. Indian forests come alive with the activities of different species. These forests are filled with numerous animals and birds that are hard to find at other places. For us, visiting these places has been such a rich experience, hearing things we've never heard before. We feel privileged to share our wonderful experiences with you, so that you may discover them as we have. If you want to breathe fresh air and watch some of the rare species of birds and animals, then surely you should be Indian Jungles that comprise of National Parks and Wildlife sanctuaries. This is what my guide said when I casually asked about the Jungle travel in India. Paying attention to his words and after contemplating on the idea, I decided to venture out for jungle travel. There are different places that can be explored for jungle travel like Jim Corbett National Park, Ranthmbore National Park and the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. There is enough evidence to show that dense forests once covered India. Over the years, as man progressed the forest began gradually depleting. The growing population and mans dependence on the forest have been mainly responsible for this. Forests were revered in ancient India. Still one can find temples dedicated to the village deites and other forces of nature in forests. The diversity of habitats provides haven for a remarkable abundance of wildlife. |
