West Bengal is an enticing place to explore and it's cities makes the state a lot more exciting. Be it Shantniketan or Kolkata or Mirik, each have a unique characterstic attached to it. One of the first few city that I explored was offcourse Shantiniketan, this was the place where my cousin was learning fine arts. Genuinely, a good place to explore.

Then I also explored Kolkata/ Calcutta, another magnificent city of West Bengal. Though it is a capital city but unfortunately it never looked like. The place was highly congested and fully chaotic. Although I had good time unveiling the beauty of Victorial Memorial and other significant monuments.

There were other destinations like Mirik, Kalimpong and Shantiniketan that I explored which were equally exotic. And unearth each facets of the place braught me closer to the culture and ethos of the state. I was indeed quite overwhelmed by the beauty of the state which has the power to fascinate any traveller across the world.
