Through out my trip in West Bengal, I saw many heritage pieces. Victoria Memorial, Birla Planeterium, Kali temple were few of the tourists spots that formed my great heritage tours. I was indeed quite fascinated by the great heritage sites that made my tour to West Bengal an enticing experience. I was quite overwhelmed by the beauty of these enticing destinations as each offered me ample oppurtunity to explore. One of the best monument that I liked was the Birla Planterium. Situated at Kotturpuram in the city and presents audio-visual programs on astronomy and is a must for students and lovers of astronomy. This planetarium, built in the memory of Sri B.M.Birla, the eminent industrialist and visionary, is the most modern planetarium in the country. Belive it or not! each and every city had some or the other monument that was a part of the history. |
