The city boosted a number of enticing tourist destination that I loved to explore.

Just close to Mathura (15 kms) is another endearing spot that I just couldn't miss in my trip to India- Vrindavan. It was astonishing for me to know that the small city boost around 4000 temples. The temples that I explored were Madan Mohan Temple that was located near the Kali Ghat and was built by Kapur Ram Das of Multan. Then I also examined the Banke Bihari temple, another famous temple, built in 1864. My guide on the tour was a great help to me as he showed me every details about the city.

It was a pleasure for me to explore the Govind Dev Temple was built in 1590 by Raja Man Singh and now lies empty, its upper layers having been torn down during the time of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The Rangaji Temple dates from 1851 and is a mixture of architectural styles, including a Rajput entrance gate, a soaring south Indian gopuram (gateway tower), and an Italianate colonnade. I also explored the Kesi ghat, Rang ghat. Despite of the fact the city covers an area of around 2.5 sq km, it boosted a number of tourist destination that was above my imagination.
