Dehradun being the capital city of Uttaranchal endorses many tourist attraction that are worth seeing.

The landing!
Dehradun was the pleasant abode that I first landed on. The mystical land is situated in the Shivalik valley near the foot hills of Himalayas. From Jolly grant, the domestic airport at Dehradun I took a cab and resorted to Hotel Great value at Rajpur. The unique thing about the Rajpur road was that it had many famous resort lines on one single road.

The Attraction!!
After resting for a while, I ventured out to explore the array of tourist attraction that this magical place endorsed. The first place I visited to was Tapekeshwar temple, the temple was situated at Garhi Cantt and I was quiet mesmerized by the way the tiny droplets were streaming through the rocks on to the Shivling, idol of lord Shiva, Indian God.

Robbers Cave was another destinations I visited, it is a famous picnic spot surrounded by hills and I was quiet astonished to notice that water vanishes underground to reappear a few yards in the form of stream.

Loving Nature!!!
As I am a keen lover of nature, I visited the Rajaji National Park situated at the Dehradun Valley. Sprawling over 820 sq km, Rajaji was founded in 1966. Well, I was astound to know that the National Park endorses 23 species of Mammals and 315 birds species. They charged me Rs 350 in Indian currency to explore the National Park for three days.

Well, I adored the flora and Fuana in the Forest Reserch Institute that was established by the British in the early years of this century. It had six galleries of its museum that laid out a unique flora and fuana
