I was quite impressed by the beauty of this wildife sanctuary. I loved the greens here.

Its not that Tirupati is just made of golden bricks, the city also boast few wildlife sanctuaries. Out of which I chose the Sri Venkateshwara Sanctuary. Located 15 km from Kadapa, 420 km from Hyderabad and 10 km from Tirupati, Sri Venkateshwara Sanctuary is one of the proclaimed wildlifes sanctuaries of Andhra Pradesh.

This national park spans over two major regions of Andhra Pradesh - Chitoor and Cuddapah. Covering an area of 353.62 sq.km, this park is known for its flora and fauna.

Since I am a wildlife enthusiasts, I was quite enthralled by the time I explored it. Popular for its sandalwood trees, Sri Venkateshwara Sanctuary was an adventurer's delight.

The flora in this sanctuary is deciduous mix and boast around 1500 plant species belonging to 176 families. The sanctuary is quite famous for its rare slender Lorises and the rare and endangered golden Gecko, Indian Giant Squirrel, Tree Shrew and Flying Lizards. There are other mammal species like the Nilgai, Wildboar, occasional leopard, hyena etc to be seen here as well.

I got the opportunity to explore the flora as well the fauna through wildlife safari. As far as the fauna was concerned I was quite enthralled to view the great flora and fauna mix. This sanctuary perfectly astound me with its natural beauty and class.
