As I covered each destination, I came to know more about the people living in this splendorous place, their lifestyle, culture and many other things. The most astonishing were the costumes that they wore. I had never seen any Rajasthani wearing pale colors. Interestingly, they all wore opulent colors like bright red, dazzling yellow, lively green against the backdrop of the sandy land. Another common thing I found was the use of silver and golden laces Laces on their dress.

The village females used to wear silver jewelery and ornaments on almost every part of the body to look beautiful and attractive. In fact I was quite fascinated by the turban, head dress of Rajasthani people. Surprisingly, they follow a differential pattern according to the geographical region.

“Will you like to have your photograph in Rajasthani dress?”asked an amateur photographer at City Palace, Udaipur. “The idea was not bad, a photograph in Rajasthani attire will be good to cherish later.” I thought. And here I was wearing the traditional Rajasthani dress. “ Hey! He looks cute!” sighed a passing tourist.

Unique culture!!
Rajasthani has unique culture as it echoes with pure and beautiful melodies of hymns, sung with love and devotion. I was particularly impressed by the rich tradition, the state exhibits.

I was astound by the zeal with which these people live their life and that is reflected in the year round fairs and festivals and exotic cuisines. People of this virtuous land have well carried the baton of legacy with the strides of time.
