It would have been our, my wife and mine, foolishness, if we would have, not explored the Panna park, that was just 32 kms from Khajuraho. No doubt, we were on our honeymoon trip but since we had heard a lot of praise about the Park, I covered this park within our tour. And believe me! It was a right decision. Panna National park is located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. You won't believe my wife was wild ....she was so kiddish in the park.. jumping around places. .it seemed that her childhood had again striked with the mere glimpse of greens. Oh! It was pleasure for me to take snaps of those wild animals. Interestingly, the park housed many mammals that included Tiger, Leopard, Caracal. The avifuana comprises of 200 species including the host of migratory birds. Since we thought of a night stay over there, we resorted to Ken river lodge that is 2 km from Panna national Park. The best time to visit the park is during the month of January and May, when most of the migratory birds come to this place in order to spend some time here. hey! What's that ? asked my wife. As I took a closer look of the animal from my binoculars, I found that it was a leopard. That's leopard I replied. Spanning over an area of 533 sq km , the national park provided me a lot of scope to use my camera as I snapped photographs of wild amongst the green flora. |
