Beaches of Orissa have left a long lasting impressions on my mind. The first beach that I explored was off course the Puri beach. Located on the shores of Bay of Bengal, it is one of the finest beaches in the world. The fine white sands of Puri beach and the roar of the breakers rolling in from the Bay of Bengal have fascinated visitors throughout the ages and I was no exception. In fact, I was too enthralled by the beauty of Orissan beaches.

Some of the other beach that I explored during my tour was Konark beach. The sprawling beach at Konark is counted as one of the finest in the world. With a long stretch of clean sands and cool blue sea making rapids in rolling waves, the beach has its own lovely serenity. It was definitely a pleasure for me to explore this part of the long Orissan coastline.

The other beaches that I explored was off course - Pradeep beach and Chandipur beach and Balighai Beach. In fact, exploring them added much delight to my tour. It is a well known fact that you just cannot miss the opportunity to explore the beaches of Orissa on your tour.
