Just 3 kms away from the famous Sun temple, lies the Konark beach that became a part of my exploration during my visit to Konark. After minutely covering Konark Temple, I decided to explore the beach. Thankfully it was already evening and I didn't had to face the heat. I was indeed quite excited to be a part of this venture as it brought me closer to the mother nature

Though it was a beautiful beach but one of the traveller cautioned me that this beach is quite rough and one should avoid swimming in it. Konark is the world famous site of the most exquisite Sun temple one can ever come across. I was easily able to feel the lovely bliss and serenity of the beach as I explored this revered beach of Orissa.

Also known as Chanrabhaga, this beach is supposed to be one of the finest beaches of India. I was there for around 2 hours and in these two hours, I filled my mind with the splendor of the sea that sprawled over the region. With long stretch of cleans sands and a lovely serenity of its own, this beach is considered as one of the best in the eastern coast. Belive me! I consider myself in lucky few who are able to explore it.
