Teenager By Heart! Things that are considered dangerous or difficult have always attracted me. And when I came to know that mountaineering in Himalayas is one of them, I could not resist to explore Himalayas in a better way. But before actually exploring the Himalayas, I had to take a written permission from the Government of India through Indian mountaineering foundation. The Indian Himalayas spread over various states offer greatest mountain climbing opportunities. Especially for those with daring spirit of adventure and enterprise to explore its diversity. Well, I came to know that the best season for climbing on Indian Himalayas is from April to the end of October except for few areas like Garhwal and Kullu Valley. Today, I am able to comment that Himalayas are perfect mountaineers destination as it offered a refreshing idea to treat mountaineers. Before actually starting our excavation, I took all the measures that I could, as I have heard lot of accidents that took place due to the insufficient precaution taken by the inexperienced people. The Spendorous Mountains Ahead!! I explored the splendorous mountains from the Manali region, that is considered to be the core of mountaineering in Himachal. The other region that I explored were the Beas kund region, the Manali and the Shatidhar peaks. Deo Tibba at an altitude of 6,001m is good for beginners. To my amusement there are number of institutes in India that offer courses in rock climbing. The course in mountaineering are devoted on theoretical training consisting of lectures on high altitudes physiology, history of mountaineering. |
