Indian Himalayas were the first of all the mountain ranges that I explored. This Indian Himalayan Range covers the entire northern part of India, nestling five major states of the country. Apart from adventure and wildlife, this part of Himalayan range also endorsed a great pilgrimage site. Infact, we, my friends and I especially admired the low valleys that abruptly rises up in the high mountain ranges, the lovely trekking routes and densely forested areas We also explored few of the finest state that adorns the great Himalayan range. The first state that we delve into was Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Infact I admired the adventorous activities endorsed by this region of the Himalayas. These activities could be easily seggregrated into trekking, mountaineering and Jeep Safari of Trans himalayan range. We also wanted to explore the Kashmir Valleys but due to militancy in the region we avoided it. Another state that we visited was Himachal Pradesh. I especially admired the hill station including Shimla, Dalhousie, Kullu, Manali and Kufri. All of these offered us a breathtaking scenery. After Himachal, we popped in Uttranchal, that housed the world famous "Char Dham" or the four hindu Pilgrimage destination- Badrinath-Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamnotri. |
