I am an adventurous person by heart and I like trying out new sports. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule I could not spend my time in any lesure activities. But this time I was in mood and I wanted to try all that Himachal offered to me. When I came to know that Himachal sport various adventorous game, I was quite excited. And I searched entire web to find out what game I could try and the first thing that catched my eyes was Skiing in Himachal Pradesh. No doubt, Himachal had ordinary skiing but the intresting one was Heli Skiing.

As I searched through net, I came to know that Institute of Mountaineering and Alied sports at Alied Sports at Manali and its branches at Dharamshala offer the Skiing activity.I had an phenomenal experience while trying the Heli Skiing in Himachal Pradesh as it involved subsituting air craft for ski lifts thereby enabling mr a greater cooice of runs. To be very frank, Heli skiing is expensive as Skiers are taken to high mountain tops or the ridges by the helicopter and dropped there. A major feature is the compactness of the heli-skiing area. A sortie of ten minutes can carry the skiers to the top of a 14,000 foot high slope. The main Skiing area in Himachal Pradesh are Manali, Kufri and Narkanda.. Ice Skating was very romantic!!!!!
Ya it was.... for me! as I managed to glide on ice balancing my body. Simla is one of the best places to try out ice skating. In fact a sports festival is held there every winter. Amateurs like me can follow simple rules of agility, steadiness and a good sense of balance to enjoy this sport, look at me, I mastered the game in no time.
