Since South India was the first on my list of exploration, there forth
I was bound to cover the hill station of south. As I travelled towards
north, I knew I was heading towards the greatest mountain ranges on the
earth - The Himalayan range. Many have tried to conquer it, many have
tried to exploit it but had to fail in front of the majestic nature of
Himalayas.
Believe me! you cannot miss these exotic hill station as they not only
bring uniqueness but a tinge of freshness on your tour to India.These
hill station added a lot of drama and romance on my tour. They were like
a icing on the cake. These beautiful pieces gelled together to form the
most seek destination of India - the Himalayas.
The Himalaya is the great mountain system of Asia. The mountain range
forms a 1500 mile broad crescent through Northeastern Pakistan, Northern
India, Southern Tibet, Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. It is bordered on the
north by the high plateau of Central Asia and on the south by the
fertile plains of the Indian subcontinent. Over thirty Himalayan peaks
exceed 25,000 feet. Nine of the world's fourteen 8,000-meter peaks are
located here. It also houses the highest peak in the world - The Mount
Everest. Apart from highest peaks and glaciers, this range encompass
some phenomenal hill station where mother nature cast it spell and
conquer both earth and sky with its beauty. I was spell bound and at
times found myself completely lost in adoration of these hill resorts
that are quite at par with other hot destination.

Being the one of the greatest mountain ranges there are several other
hill stations that fall at different states along the majestic Himalayan
range. Overall , Personally I feel my tip to Himalyan range was complete
as I happened to explore nature at its best.
