Stretching towards northeast, the himalayan range tends to offer some more interesting place to explore. Since I explored the famous North Indian hill station, I couldn't resist my self and extended my journey to explore a bunch of more hill station that beautified the north east region of India. And believe me! this would have been my greatest fault, if I won't have extended my tour. Thanks to both my mind and brain, they both agreed and I headed towards the north east terrain of Himalayan range to encounter the bounteous beauty of this part of the region.

And believe me! I was not disappointed. The north east was as beautiful and enchanting and several poems can be written in on this part of India. India's Northeast Hill States were once a single state called Assam, but have now been split into seven distinct jurisdictions: Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

Being a mountainous region, north east boasted many hill station , good for travelers to explore. In fact there were few that astound me with their magic and beauty. These were :

• Gangtok ( Nepal)
• Kalimpong (Near Darjeeling)
• Shillong (Meghalaya)
• Mirik ( Bagdogra)
• Tawang (Bhutan)
• Pasighat (Arunachal Pradesh)
• Pelling (Kanchenjunga)
• Haflong(Assam)
• Zero/Ziro
• Itanagar(Arunachal Pradesh)

These scenic North hill stations provided a salubrious retreat away from the dust and din of the city. It was a perfect retreat for me and I enjoyed my foray to this hill terrain of India.
