Forts
India endorse some exotic forts that are spread unevenly all over India.

I was there in India for two or three months and fortunately, I covered every part of it. I don't think that I missed out any dimensions and the best one was of course the monumental heritage of India. Unbelievably, while I was in India, I had to spend a lot of time in Rajasthan...probably, now I know the reason ......why? As it boosted a number of big, small forts and palaces. In fact, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh are also not far behind.

Oh! the magnificient forts, I have no words for them as they will look too small in front of splendorous forts that beautify India. In fact, whole India is dotted with forts of varied sizes. I especially liked the Amber fort of Rajasthan. The fort situated about 11 km from Jaipur. I just loved the construction of the building. My guide in the Rajasthan told me that the fort was constructed in1592 by Rajah Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army. It was later extended and completed by the Jai Singhs before they move to Jaipur on the plains below. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, located on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. The other forts that I explored were Junagarh fort, Chittorgarh fort, Jaigarh fort, Meharangarh fort.

Since Delhi was the first place that I explored, significantly I covered almost all its forts that included the Tughalakabad fort, Purana Qila or the Old fort and Red fort. I was literally impressed by the forts of India, that clearly depicted the glory of Indian majestic past.

I even explored some great monuments of India, that tends to form the major tourist attraction in India. I knew that India have a magnificent past with legendary epics and monuments attached to it. The monuments spell the true colors of India and carry its very essence. But there are few special monuments that form an integral part of India's historical heritage are, the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, the Sun God - Konark, Agra Fort, the Humayun's tomb and last but not the least, the forgotten walled city of Fatehpur Sikri. There are so many. It was difficult for me to cover all of them but the enchanting nature of the place forced me to.
