Delhi, Agra, Jaipur Golden Triangle
The golden triangle encapsulate three enthralling cities of India- the mechanized Delhi, the enchanting Agra, the splendorous Jaipur. Exploring these places was a charming experience for me!.

The Journey!
Since I was traveling to India for the first time, I was undergoing a gamut of emotions and sensation. As I felt the avalanche of sensory experiences, I tried to normalize the situation as much as possible. In fact after touring India I was amazed by the extravagant palaces, forts and temples that abound throughout India. Most of my friends who had already visited India suggested me to take the pre-packaged tours offered by the Government or by hundred of private tour companies. This packages makes it easy for the debutante travelers like me.

I chose the famous golden triangle, as it covered the most diverse cultural cities of India, the vibrancy of Delhi, royalty of Jaipur and romance Of Agra. Delhi was the first destination that I covered. I was astonished after looking at the historical monument like Qutub Minar, Hamayun Tomb, the Jama Masjid and the imperial Red fort. Well, since I am brave at heart I explored the Chandni Chowk, buzzing hub of the Indian Street Commerce.

The Parliament house and the Rashtrapati Bhawan forced me to recall the White House in our country. The two structures were as majestic as our own Parliament. If we try to keep the slums and the poverty away, Delhi is like any other city in America. Especially those high rised buildings, well maintained parks....broad roads..forget Chandni Chowk

The Second Corner!!
My next destination was Agra that lies 3 km from the south Delhi, famous for housing one of the eighth wonder of the world. Well, I did not like the city much as it was dusty, unkempt and chaotic. The city endorsed only two historical monuments Taj and the Agra fort.

No doubt, I loved Taj, the symbol of love. “ It is a World Heritage site” informed our guide as if we don't know. Well I was astound by the entrance that is through a dramatic arch. This entrance took me to the realm of Taj Mahal and brought me in front of the majestic beauty that stands in peace in white marble. Built in 1655, the vulnerable monument of love has a superb construction.

The Third corner!!!
Soon I headed towards the third corner of the golden triangle-The pink city. Well, as I was traveling through my deluxe bus to Jaipur, I was able to see the colorful drapes, small villages. I was able to feel true India as I was coming close to Jaipur. Well, the most intoxicating was the dress code that Rajasthani people wore. Every attire was too colorful and lively with colors like bright red, orange green and yellow. The women dress were generally adorned with Silver/gold laces.

As we landed on the exotic city, we were asked to taken to the Raj palace, A heritage hotel in Jaipur. From there we were taken to the monuments like Hawa Mahal, Amber fort and the Jantar Mantar. The World heritage listed Jantar Mantar is an open air observatory that displays the high brow capabilities of the city founder. Leaving Jaipur and getting Back to Delhi was a hard experience itself, I somehow had a sense of belonging to this place. If I had more time, I would have spent more time in Jaipur.
