ISKCON Temple
This temple is dedicated to the Lord Krishna and was built by the Hare-Rama Hare- Krishna cult followers. This complex is elegantly build and is one of the largest temple complexes in India.

Geeta, my Indian friend wife, was great help for me. She acted like a guide and told me each and everything about ISKCON temple in Delhi. From my knowledge, I knew that this temple is under Hare Krishna Movement and was founded by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

“ You know ISKCON has many branches in India and they are thinking of building more” Geeta said. To this I added that the ISKCON ( International Society Of International Consciousness), was initally raised as the spiritual society in New York to propagate the massage of the Bhagwad Gita, the sacred Indian book. The temple is in Greater Kailash, precisely Sant Nagar.

“ Arre!! they already have branches in Karnataka, Bangalore and Vridavan.” informed Geeta. These complexes are elegantly built and are few of the largest temple complexes in India. There are beautiful paintings of Russian artists on the different past times of Radha Krishna, Sita, Ram, Laxman, Hanuman and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Special programmes like Kirtan, Aarti, Pravachan and Prasadam are held every Sunday.
