I had good fun at Baga beach that was located at 29 km away from Panaji, the capital city of Goa. Baga beach is situated at the North end of the Calangute and is retreat for those who want to be away from the dust and din of the city ...If some one ask me how do I remember Baga beach? A small fishing beach with shady trees with playful sea waves. And second reason is that I spent hours on the beach fishing, one of my favorite pass time activity.

Oh! yes, how can I forget the Baga river, flows down on one side offering a pleasant diversion for children who cannot enjoy the playful waves of the sea. And then there was another tourist attraction at Baga beach, the medicinal springs that was along the road passing the Bom Viagem Convent. The spring is supposed to have medicinal values. In all, I had a great time exploring Baga beach of Goa.
