Exploring Warangal was indeed quite fascinating. This was the second city after I explored the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

From Hyderabad I moved to Warangal and it took me approximately 5 hrs to reach the city. Just 157 kms from Hyderabad, Warangal is one of the popular districts famous for its ancient temples, historic monuments and massive forts.

Since I was under a planned tour, I need not had to worry about my stay and other things. Thankfully, I booked my tour from a famous travel agent in Hyderabad who provided me best kind of services and hospitality.

The city don't have that many hotels but I was provided a famous deluxe hotel in Warangal. All my gratitude to my travel agent. It took me two hrs to get rid of my tiredness and to venture out to explore the ecstasies of Warangal.

" So! which is the first place that we will be exploring ? " I asked the guide provided to me by my travel agent. " Warangal Fort" he answered. On the way, he unveiled the history of Warangal fort. "The fort was constructed by the Kakatiya ruler Ganapathi Devi. It is counted as the masterpiece of 13 th century."

" Hmmm..." I murmured, I was keenly waiting to explore Warangal Fort. It just took 15 minutes to reach Warangal Fort. I was completely fallabergasted by its beauty. The other monuments that we explored on our Warangal Tour were Thousand Pillar temple and Rammappa Temple.

The worth watching place in Warangal was the Thousand Pillar Temple adorned by the conscientious carving. I was overwhelmed by its architectural excellence and it holds a special place in my list of exquisite carftmanship.

Though as such I didn't had to face much problem but I was horrified by the summer heat. Incidentally after I finished my foray in Warangal, I was struck by heat stroke. Well another two days went in recovering and I was still in Warangal.
