Yes! I know talking about Caves is not interesting but Andhra Pradesh caves are surely different. They form one of the major tourist attractions of Andhra Pradesh. I wanted to mention them all on one page basically so that you can understand how are they important to Andhra Pradesh. Being the heritage of Andhra Pradesh, caves are much watched tourist place of Andhra Pradesh. Belum Caves, Borra Caves, Guthikonda Caves, Mogalarajpuram caves are just few to be mentioned. Out of all the Borra Caves in Kirinrandal are the best. They are located 90km from Vishakapatnam and spans over the Eastern Ghats. Borra Caves occupy an area of 2 square kilometers. I was in fact quite astound to know that there is a cave which is about one million year old These caves were just a special package on my Andhra Pradesh Tour and they completely shocked me with their beauty. Undavalli caves were just another gem. The caves were fine specimens of rock cut architectural of the Buddhists. The caves were indeed interesting and made my foray to Andhra Pradesh an experience. |
